LOCAL HEALTHCARE COMPANY IS AWARDED NATIONAL ACCREDITATION STATUS
Niagara Falls, NY– The Accreditation Commission for Health Care, Inc. (ACHC) recently announced that Health System Services Ltd. of Niagara Falls has been awarded accreditation status for providing Home Medical Equipment.
The accreditation process is a voluntary activity where healthcare organizations submit to a peer review of their internal policies, processes and patient care delivery against national standards. By attaining accreditation, Health System Services has demonstrated its commitment to maintain a higher level of competency and strive for excellence in its products, services and customer satisfaction.
ACHC, a private, not-for-profit corporation, was developed by home care and community-based providers to help companies improve business operations and quality of patient care. Referring to the value of accreditation, ACHC President Tom Cesar indicated, “The survey process leads an organization to examine its policies and practices continually to clarify its strengths and improve its weaknesses.”
Health System Services’ President Robert Minicucci stated, “We are extremely proud of our employees who worked tirelessly to ensure our successful accreditation. This entire process has helped us to become a better company and also provide a higher level of service to our customers. Today is a great day for HSS and the patients we serve.”
