Local Executive named "Volunteer of the Year" 1/19/2010
Local Executive named ‘Volunteer of the Year’
WHEATFIELD, NY - Local business professional Doug Mooradian has been named ‘2009 Volunteer of the Year’ by the Niagara Falls Boys’ & Girls’ Club. The award will be presented during a United Way luncheon on Thursday, January 21st at the Como Restaurant.
Mr. Mooradian has been an Account Executive with Health System Services, a Home Medical Equipment provider in Wheatfield, since 2004. Most recently, he was Chairman of the 2009 Niagara Falls Boys’ & Girls Club Annual Auction which helped to raise more than $90,000 for the local youth organization.
Health System Services’ President Robert Minicucci, Sr. commented, “Doug has always been passionate about his hometown and is very deserving of this honor. Ever since returning to Western New York he has volunteered his time and expertise to a variety of organizations throughout the community. HSS is very proud to have Doug as a member of our team and we congratulate him on this award”.
About Doug Mooradian
Mr. Mooradian is an Account Executive at Health System Services in Wheatfield, NY and in 2007 was named ‘HSS Salesperson of the Year’. He was born and raised in Niagara Falls and graduated from SUNY Cortland in 1999. In 2004 he returned to Western New York after living in North Carolina. Doug currently resides in Niagara Falls with his wife Jennifer.
